Support Ribbons

I’ve been wearing a rainbow ribbon for a while now, in support of gay rights to marry and other things the rest of us take for granted. A few people have asked if I’m gay, and I say “no, you can support the troops without being in the military, so there!” Then I flounce my curls and walk away in a huff. Not really, but that would be a sight to see.

Anyway, what I wanted to mention was about support ribbons in general.. aren’t most of them for things everyone supports? Is anyone against the troops? Even those that appose the war, support the troops.. Is there a faction out there that loves breast cancer? I’m not saying people shouldn’t wear the ribbons, but it’s sort of like being in favor of clean air and water…
