An Open Letter to Rush Limbaugh

Dear Rush,

What happened to you?

I use to listen to you in your earlier days, back in the 80’s, and while you were always opinionated and self-assured, you were a happier, friendlier host.

Do you remember when that restaurant pulled their small advertising from their local radio because of you, and instead of blasting him, you actually encouraged people to give him business, and say, “Rush send me in”. Where’s that Rush?

Where’s the ‘harmless ball of fluff’ you always called yourself?

There are expressions I could use on the level to which you have sunk, but they all mean, you are too full of yourself and have delusions of grandeur. You’ve become a mean-spirited, hateful person, and I’m very sad for you. I am ashamed of you and if you lose your radio show you have no one to blame but yourself.

Sadly but Sincerely,

Dwight Jenkins
